The Glinka Museum in Moscow – the most important musical museum of the Russian Federation which houses many treasures, including many stringed instruments of the Cremonese School belonging to the Collection of State – chooses as strategic partner Museo del Violino, unique in the international scene , which tells the story of five centuries of the Cremonese violin making, recently recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Heritage of Humanity, and which houses masterpieces by Stradivari, Guarneri and Amati, in addition to precious original exhibits from the workshop of the same Antonio Stradivari.

As part of the “friends of Stradivari”, the international network that brings together collectors, musicians, scholars, lovers and supporters of the Cremonese violin making in the name of the great and unsurpassed luthier, the collaboration between Museo del Violino and the Glinka Museum and National Consortium for Musical Culture in Moscow will become more and more tight with the organization of cultural exchanges, exhibition of instruments and research and restoration projects.
