violoncello Giuseppe Guarneri “filius Andreæ” c.1710
presentato oggi da Peter Beare in rappresentanza della proprietà Beare Violins Ltd resterà esposto in Sala 9 del Museo fino a fine anno.
Questo violoncello eccezionalmente ben conservato fu fatto a Cremona nell’anno 1710 da Giuseppe Guarneri “filius Andreæ”. E’ un belissimo esempio del suo lavoro ed è di particolare interesse per la quantità e la qualità della sua vernice Cremonese.

This exceptionally well-preserved cello was made in Cremona in around 1710 by Giuseppe Guarneri “filius Andreæ”. It is a very fine example of his work and is particularly notable for the quantity and quality of its superb Cremonese varnish.
