Attributed to the workshop of Antonio Stradivari- violin bow, 1700 ca.

This bow was once the possesion of the Spanish Royal Court, The frog displays the armorials of Charles IV of Spain. Inlay on the bow appears to be later.

It is unknown if this bow as originally designed for a screw tightening mechanism, which it has now, or if that is a later adaptation.

Stick, bow and adjuster: snakewood, inlaid.

Head: swan head.
